Refund & Cancellation Policy
Cancellation, Rescheduling, and Refund Policy
Effective Date: October 1, 2026
Registration for a course reserves a limited training position and may require 5th Principle Training Group, LLC to commit funds for range access, targets, staffing, and other operational expenses. By registering and submitting payment, the customer agrees to the following terms.
Open-Enrollment Courses
Cancellation by the Participant
Seven or more calendar days before the course: The participant may receive a refund of the amount paid, less a 5% administrative and payment-processing charge, or transfer the full amount paid to another available open-enrollment course.
Fewer than seven calendar days before the course: Course fees are nonrefundable. A one-time transfer to another available open-enrollment course may be approved at the discretion of 5th Principle Training Group when reasonable notice is provided.
Fewer than 48 hours before the course or failure to attend: The participant is considered a no-show. Course fees are nonrefundable and nontransferable.
Any approved course transfer must be used within 12 months of the original course date. Only one transfer is permitted per registration. Once a registration has been transferred, it is no longer eligible for a cash refund.
Private Training
Private training dates are reserved specifically for the individual or group. Private training may also require the purchase of targets, range accessories, equipment, or other materials selected specifically for the customer’s objectives.
A nonrefundable deposit may be required to reserve a private-training date. The deposit amount and any anticipated customer-specific expenses will be disclosed before payment.
Cancellation by the Customer for Private Training
Thirty or more calendar days before the scheduled session: Payments may be refunded, less the nonrefundable deposit, a 5% administrative and payment-processing charge, and any nonrecoverable expenses already incurred specifically for the customer’s training.
Fewer than 30 calendar days before the scheduled session: All payments are nonrefundable. At the discretion of 5th Principle Training Group, the customer may be permitted to reschedule the session once and apply the amount paid to another available date within 12 months.
Fewer than seven calendar days before the scheduled session or failure to attend: The customer is considered a no-show. All payments are nonrefundable and nontransferable, and the session is not eligible for rescheduling.
If rescheduling is approved, the customer is responsible for any additional costs resulting from the new date, changed training objectives, changes in the number of participants, or replacement of materials that cannot be reused.
Only one rescheduling is permitted. A rescheduled private-training session is not eligible for a refund.
How to Submit a Request
All cancellation, rescheduling, and transfer requests must be submitted by email to tim@5thprincipletg.com.
The request must include:
The participant’s full name;
The name of the course;
The scheduled course date; and
The date the payment was made.
The request is not considered received until 5th Principle Training Group receives an email containing all required information. Cancellation and rescheduling deadlines are determined by the date and time the completed email request is received.
Participant Substitutions
A participant may request to transfer an open-enrollment registration to another qualified individual by providing written notice at least 48 hours before the course.
All substitutions require approval by 5th Principle Training Group. The replacement participant must satisfy all course prerequisites and complete all required registration documents and waivers before attending.
Private-training registrations may not be transferred to another customer or group without prior written approval.
Late Arrival and Early Departure
Participants are responsible for arriving at the designated location by the stated reporting time.
A participant who arrives late may be denied participation when required safety information has been missed or when allowing the participant to join would disrupt or compromise the course.
No refund, credit, or transfer will be provided for:
Late arrival;
Early departure;
Failure to bring required equipment;
Failure to satisfy course prerequisites; or
Inability to participate for personal reasons.
Safety and Conduct
5th Principle Training Group may remove or refuse participation to any person who:
Engages in unsafe conduct or improper gun handling;
Fails to follow range rules or training directions;
Appears to be impaired by alcohol, drugs, medication, illness, or another condition;
Acts in a threatening, disruptive, or inappropriate manner;
Provides materially inaccurate information concerning eligibility or experience; or
Is legally prohibited from possessing or handling firearms.
Removal or refusal under these circumstances does not entitle the participant to a refund, credit, rescheduling, or transfer.
Weather and Range Conditions
Training may continue during rain, heat, cold, or other ordinary outdoor conditions. Participants are responsible for preparing for expected weather.
If severe weather, an unsafe condition, a range closure, or another circumstance beyond the reasonable control of 5th Principle Training Group prevents the course from being conducted, the course may be delayed, relocated, rescheduled, or transferred to another available date.
When a course is rescheduled under these circumstances, the participant’s payment will automatically be applied to the new date. If the participant cannot attend the new date, the participant may transfer the payment to another available course or training date within 12 months.
Refunds are not guaranteed for weather delays or circumstances beyond the reasonable control of 5th Principle Training Group unless the course is canceled without a replacement or transfer option.
Cancellation or Rescheduling by 5th Principle Training Group
5th Principle Training Group reserves the right to cancel, postpone, relocate, or reschedule a course or private-training session because of instructor illness, insufficient enrollment, range availability, unsafe conditions, severe weather, or other operational circumstances.
If 5th Principle Training Group cancels training and does not provide a replacement date or reasonable transfer option, the customer will receive a full refund of the amount paid.
If training is rescheduled, the customer may:
Attend on the rescheduled date;
Transfer the full amount paid to another available course or training date within 12 months; or
Request a full refund if neither option is reasonably available.
A refund of the amount paid to 5th Principle Training Group is the customer’s sole financial remedy. 5th Principle Training Group is not responsible for ammunition, equipment, lodging, transportation, lost wages, or other expenses incurred by the customer.
Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be returned to the original payment method whenever possible.
Refunds will normally be initiated within 10 business days after approval. Additional processing time may be required by the payment provider or the customer’s financial institution.
Calculation of Deadlines
All deadlines are based on the scheduled starting time of the course or private-training session and the date and time that a completed written request is received at tim@5thprincipletg.com.
Calendar days include weekends and holidays.
Acceptance of Policy
By completing registration and submitting payment, the customer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to this Cancellation, Rescheduling, and Refund Policy.
